About The Position

As a Security Officer - Access Control Auto in Hartwell, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining a visible presence at access points.
Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate records and logs of access control activities, incidents, and visitor information as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to support security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
