Job Description As a Security Officer - Media Site Patrol in Flat Rock, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech, media, or telecom locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for personnel and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual circumstances, security-related hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support security-related operations and maintain open communication.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in a tech, media, and telecom environment.
