About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Auction Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the tech, media, or telecom location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Document and report any unusual observations or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors by providing directions and information as needed.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
