Job Description As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions or information as needed while maintaining access control procedures.
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment within a tech, media, and telecom location.
