Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Auto Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol the premises of a leading auto industry location. This armed and driving role involves conducting routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies at the location, providing customer service to clients and visitors.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the auto industry setting.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and control the movement of individuals and vehicles within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Document and report any unusual incidents, security-related concerns, or maintenance needs observed during patrols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related matters and maintain a professional presence.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to potential threats or emergencies, following established protocols for armed security professionals in an auto industry environment.
