As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required
  • Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
  • Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations with clear, timely reports and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover and/or emergency situations.
