As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients through strong communication and customer service. Requirements

Must be 21+ years of age
Minimum 3 plus years of Security experience Or prior Law Enforcement or Military experience required
Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while maintaining an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
Document incidents, patrol activity, and/or policy violations with clear, timely reports and communicate relevant updates during shift turnover and/or emergency situations.
