Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Locust Grove, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role involves both armed responsibilities and driving duties, requiring you to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to create a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, including guest areas, staff-only spaces, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
- Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
- Assist with emergency response activities and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
- Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations to maintain order and a welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
