As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to maintain secure entry and exit at the location.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, local authorities, and/or site personnel regarding incidents or potential concerns.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to identify and report potential security-related risks or hazards.
Operate and carry a firearm responsibly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Participate in ongoing training and drills to maintain readiness for emergency response and security-related procedures.
