As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will engage professionally with staff and visitors, report concerns clearly, and support daily operations with strong customer service. Requirements

  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, clients, and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, teller lines, offices, and vestibules and/or exterior areas such as parking lots, drive-through lanes, and ATM areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor entrances, manage visitor access according to site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate parties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear directions to staff and visitors and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Complete patrol logs and incident reports with accurate, timely details and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers to support consistent security-related coverage.
