Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and respond to concerns with professionalism and respect. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government facility by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties, including regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated posts by checking identification, logging visitors, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assessing conditions, requesting assistance, and supporting responding public agencies as needed.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and equipment checks, and communicate significant observations to site leadership.
