This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required to complete vehicle patrols and respond across the site. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following Allied Universal post orders, security-related procedures, and site-specific policies, and by assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office, campus, and/or data center areas, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and security-related systems such as CCTV, alarm panels, and access control, and report issues or irregularities per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts when possible and requesting appropriate assistance when needed.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and unusual observations in written and/or electronic reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
