Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and legal guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
Work closely with local management and/or law enforcement when appropriate to report concerns, support incident response, and maintain orderly operations at the location.
