As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver clear communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU Driver Policy Requirements. Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production and office areas, hangars, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, supporting visitor processing, and directing individuals to appropriate locations per site requirements.
• Monitor alarms, radios, and communication systems; document unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and/or incidents, and notify site leadership and/or emergency services as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with scene control, reporting, and coordination with on-site teams and/or responding authorities.
