Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned government location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Carry a firearm in accordance with applicable laws and site-specific requirements, maintaining readiness to respond to potential threats.
Monitor and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as required in the event of incidents or emergencies at the location.
Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
