About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Telecom Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and appropriate escalation.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist with emergency response activities as required, coordinating with local authorities and Allied Universal management as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and location procedures.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and/or guests, offering assistance and upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies when carrying out assigned duties.
