As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements
21+ Years of Age
Level III Armed Certification (Texas Only)
Access Control/Badge Experience
Loss Prevention
2+ Years' Law Enforcement/Military Police/Corrections Experience
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any security-related activities as required by site policies.
Work collaboratively with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.
