This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to provide a reassuring presence, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and promoting a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter theft, loss prevention concerns, and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain accurate and detailed logs or reports of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and client policies.
Collaborate with store management and other personnel to address security-related concerns and support a positive experience for customers and staff.
Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms or emergency situations, including situations that may require an armed response, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
