About The Position

As a Security Officer Armed Site in Camden, AR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This armed post requires a guard card/license. Requirements

  • Armed Security License for AR
  • Must be 21+ years old
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Maintain a visible presence and conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols specific to the location.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established guidelines.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and assisting visitors as needed.
  • Assist with incident documentation and communication with Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures relevant to an aerospace and defense environment, including heightened awareness of sensitive areas and materials.
  • Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed patrol duties.
