Join Allied Universal at an education location as an armed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help to reduce security-related incidents through strong customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card or license. You will contribute to a caring, people-first team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and always acts with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, campus policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement and/or medical personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through established communication channels.
• Complete written reports and incident documentation, and support campus events and high-traffic periods with visible armed presence as directed.
