About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol in Pacific Palisades, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, support access control, and deliver strong customer service and communication with staff and visitors. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities while assigned as an armed officer.
• Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public law enforcement as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points, documenting observations and reporting maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns.
• Control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or armored cash services by checking identification, monitoring entry and exit points, and following established access protocols.
• Complete required reports such as daily activity logs and incident reports, support investigations by preserving observations and evidence within policy, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and client contacts.
