You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and incidents with clear communication and professional customer service. This post requires Level III Armed Certification and carries a strong commitment to integrity, teamwork, and a caring, people-first culture that values reliability, agility, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 3+ year Military Police or Corrections Officer or Armed Security or Certified Law Enforcement Graduate.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Possess Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • An Armed Guard Card and/or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or authorizations in accordance with post orders and site requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site representatives and/or public authorities as directed.
  • Complete detailed documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate observations to the chain of command.
