As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. This is an armed post requiring an Armed Guard Card or License, where you will support a people-first culture built on teamwork, agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Have 3+ years combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security experience or a college degree.
  • Have an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout offices, labs, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, and complete required patrol documentation.
  • Monitor access points and security-related systems such as alarms, cameras, and visitor logs, and report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations per site procedures.
