This is a driving post, so you may move between areas as needed and complete clear, professional reports. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Control access at designated points by checking identification, monitoring entry and exit, and/or screening for prohibited items in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local law enforcement as directed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation, including incident reports and shift activity logs, and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or pass-downs.
