As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and data-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, respond to concerns, and deliver clear communication and customer service. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders and applicable laws, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, and potential threats.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, building exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions varying by site area and shift.
• Complete detailed security-related reports, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
