As a Security Officer - Armed Retail Patrols in Spring, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This role is both armed and requires driving, offering you the opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tue 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wed 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM Thur 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 05:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Level III armed certification is required for Texas.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activity.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist employees, visitors, and/or customers as needed.
Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client site requirements.
Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
Carry and maintain proper control of assigned firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and procedures.
