Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer supporting a retail location, where your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed response.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal protocols.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address questions, concerns, or incidents.
Maintain detailed records and write reports on incidents, patrols, and any security-related observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
