Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
Perform duties while armed, adhering to all applicable regulations and protocols.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism and/or other unwanted activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding observations, incidents, and activities at the location.
Offer guidance and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as appropriate.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter security-related issues in a retail environment.
