As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong, visible presence at a bustling retail location. Requirements

Applicants must be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
Monitor for suspicious activity and/or potential hazards, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Interact with store staff, visitors, and/or customers to provide assistance and information as needed.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and adhere to all site-specific guidelines and protocols.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders if required during incidents at the location.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
