As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted behaviors.
Interact with store personnel and visitors in a professional and approachable manner while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.
Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to established protocols.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and being alert to suspicious activity.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies.
