As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with strong customer service and clear communication. This is an armed, driving post, supporting a dynamic environment where quick thinking and professionalism matter. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III armed certification for Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor areas, entrances, parking lots, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and take appropriate action within Allied Universal guidelines while maintaining a professional presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
