As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious resort location, you will conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate emergency response activities when needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by addressing their questions and concerns in a professional manner.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as directed during critical situations.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to guests and staff.
