As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious or unusual activity within the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Assist residents and visitors with inquiries and provide directions or support as needed.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and promote a sense of security-related awareness throughout the residential community.
