As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm professionalism. You will document activities, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 4+ years military, law enforcement or Criminal Justice degree
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Perform armed patrol duties by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor flow, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with post orders.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs regarding patrol activity, incidents, and observations, and handle assigned duty gear in line with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws.
