You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of security experience.
• Have 1 or more years of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Have an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; assist with access control measures and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or local law enforcement as needed.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity documentation in a timely manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
