As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support clear communication with teams on site. Requirements

Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Have 1+ years of security experience.
Possess an armed guard card/license.
Be 21+ years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific policies, security-related procedures, and/or emergency response activities.
Maintain an armed post in accordance with licensing, training, and post orders while using professional communication and sound judgment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout industrial buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter lines to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or irregular conditions.
Control access at designated entry points by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries to approved locations per site procedures.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations through the appropriate channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting medical, fire, and/or facility response teams as directed by post orders.
Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations, and maintain required logs and documentation.
Perform vehicle and/or pedestrian screening as assigned, including inspecting packages or cargo areas when authorized by site policy.
Provide escorts for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or contractors within restricted or controlled areas when required.
Communicate and coordinate with supervisors, client representatives, and local public responders as needed while following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific procedures.
