About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Morganfield, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

  • A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
  • A minimum of 1+ years’ armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related hazards or unusual conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support, coordinated response with clinical teams, and communication with law enforcement when needed.
  • Carry and maintain assigned duty weapon and related equipment in accordance with licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies, including secure handling, accountability, and incident reporting.
  • Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive departments, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and completing detailed documentation of patrols, incidents, and/or medical campus activity.
