As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Hesperia, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while bringing agility, reliability, and innovation to every shift.

Requirements

MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
An armed guard card and/or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A pepper spray certification is preferred.
A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or public activity while reporting unusual conditions according to site protocols.
Complete assigned reports and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public agency personnel regarding incidents, observations, and daily activity.
