About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Centennial, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an armed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication. You will support access control, report findings, and provide helpful customer service to employees and visitors. Requirements

• Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience OR a college degree.
• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques and coordinating with on-site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Monitor entrances, shipping and receiving activity, and security-related systems such as cameras and intrusion alarms, and verify identification, badges, and delivery documentation per site policy.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and maintain required armed post qualifications and equipment handling standards in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
