As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service, and document activities. Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have 1+ years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public emergency services as needed.
  • Control access to the facility by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials and/or visitor authorization, and directing visitors according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed security-related reports and shift documentation, including incident reports, patrol logs, and observations, and communicate pertinent information during post turnovers.
