As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist employees and visitors with professionalism, communicate clearly, and document and report unusual activity. Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Minimum 1 year or more of Security experience required
• Have at least 1+ years' armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns per post orders and/or notifying proper authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and/or key control processes as required by site policy, and help to maintain orderly entry and exit.
• Complete required reports such as incident reports, patrol logs, and/or shift activity documentation; communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
