As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Hesperia, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- A pepper spray certification is preferred.
- A valid firearms permit is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or public activity while reporting unusual conditions according to site protocols.
- Complete assigned reports and communicate with supervisors, staff, and/or public agency personnel regarding incidents, observations, and daily activity.
