As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a sense of security, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies and procedures as set by Allied Universal.
• Carry out regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, utilizing problem-solving skills and appropriate emergency response protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or potential threats within the location.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies on the premises.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing duties in a manufacturing and industrial environment, adapting to varying working conditions as needed.
