Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local law enforcement when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
Support opening and closing activities, observe cash handling and high-value asset movement from a distance when assigned, and maintain a professional presence during business hours and after-hours operations.
