Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Naples, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while maintaining a professional presence. Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associates Degree with 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with on-site personnel and local public agencies as directed.
• Operate in an armed post by carrying and handling assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies, maintaining weapon retention awareness and completing required inspections and documentation.
• Complete routine documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and access control records, and communicate significant conditions to supervision and/or site contacts in a timely manner.
