As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with calm, professional communication. You will support customers and staff while completing routine patrols and reporting. Requirements

  • Security Experience ‐ 1+ Years is required.
  • An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions per post orders.
  • Control access by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization for entry, and/or screening for prohibited items in accordance with site guidelines and applicable law.
  • Complete required reports and logs, communicate key information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and coordinate with local law enforcement when needed.
