Requirements

  • Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Carry an authorized firearm and related equipment in accordance with state licensing requirements and Allied Universal and site post orders, helping to maintain a professional presence.
  • Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site management and local law enforcement as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the lobby, ATM areas, offices, and perimeter, and complete security-related checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and/or unusual conditions in written reports and electronic logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift briefings and pass-downs.
