As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving and armed post allows you to play a key role in supporting a secure environment while demonstrating agility, reliability, and a caring approach as part of a dedicated team committed to integrity and innovation. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols and procedures.
Monitor access points and verify the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to maintain order.
Document and report any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Support emergency response efforts, such as evacuations or lockdowns, according to site-specific instructions and Allied Universal guidelines.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal at the location.
