As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and attentive service. This armed role involves conducting regular patrols, engaging with residents, and providing excellent customer service. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the residential property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence around the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Assist residents and visitors with inquiries or concerns, providing information and support as appropriate for the residential environment.
