As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to support a sense of protection, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Baton permit is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas, monitoring for unusual or suspicious behavior.
Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Document and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
Work closely with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.
Assist visitors and employees with general inquiries and provide directions or information as needed.
Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements relevant to armed patrol assignments in government settings.
