Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer in a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere. This is an armed and driving post. You will remain visible, respond professionally to situations, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local authorities as needed to address security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Follow all client and Allied Universal policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.
